Am I a physical or sedentary person in the eassy, A Plea for the Physical

In the essay, A Plea for the Physical, the author, Kate Braid talks about there are two different kinds of person. A physical or sendentary person.

Well, I'm actually both. For physical, I sometimes go outside and do some great excerises like biking. I workout in the gym and do some running on the treadmill. Even, I go shopping. I take the stairways to go up or down the floors. I go out and hang out with my friends and do some fun activities. When my family and I go on vocation, I didn't just lie on the beach and enjoy the weather over there. I also learn the enviroment and the atmosphere over there, too. I also learn what other visitors are feeling and how they enjoy their vocation. I love biking, swimming, playing basketball, and little bit of table tennis.

For sendentary, I check my e-mails or facebook when I'm at home. When I go shopping, sometimes I take an escalator or an elevator because I'm lazy or I didn't feel like taking the stairs. I take public buses to travel around Vancouver instead of biking there or walking there. I watch my TV shows instead of going out there and do some fun excerises in my free time.

My parents wish I can fall into more physical type because it is good for me. I enjoy these happy years.

  1. hm, yes. Of course I agree that no one is absolutely one or the other and everyone is both. However, there is a predilection for one or the other. You have to be more of one than the other. Also, there is your personal wish to be one rather than another too. I think your parents are right. It is good to be physical and you should be.
